At Temple Har Zion, we are justifiably proud of both our youth groups and our youth. The level of involvement, the strong leadership provided by our youth advisor, Noam Berlin, and the outstanding participation and enthusiasm of our youth make this a strong and positive part of Temple life. For any more information on either of the youth groups, please feel free to contact the Youth Advisor Noam Berlin at youthadvisor@templeharzion.com JHAZY (grades 7 & 8) is the transition group into MHARZY and has its own activities and interests to develop and encourage active participation and socilizing in programs with other Reform Jewish youth from Temple Har Zion. For the 2011-2012 school year, JHAZY will aim to have one major program about every 6 weeks. MHARZY (grades 9 - 12) is a group run by our teens, for our teens. We hold events about once a month that range from overnights at the shul, to movie nights and havdallah, to pupmkin carving and MHARZY elections. MHARZY is also a member of NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth) in the NEL (North East Lakes) region. For more information, please visit their website at www.nfty.org/nel TEMPLE HAR ZION IS CO-HOSTING NFTY-NEL's WINTER KALLAH - December 2nd-4th.
